The juice is good against cutaneous eruptions.

This is a hardy Cyclamen, a perennial plant growing from a corm with reddish stems, dark-green leaves and pale purple or white flowers.
Where to find it: An alpine plant, occasionally found in hedgerows, but grown in gardens and as a pot plant.
Flowering time: Autumn.
Astrology: This is a martial plant.
Medicinal virtues: The root is very forcing, used to bring away the birth and the secundines. It also provokes the menses. The juice is commanded against vertigo.
Modern uses: Cyclamen is used by homoeopathic physicians who make a tincture from the fresh corm. It is prescribed for uterine disease, rheumatism and migraine. The plant is not used by herbalists because it contains cyclamine, which is a drastic purgative. An ointment made from the corms and applied to the abdomen can cause vomiting; and applied over the bladder, it stimulates the flow of urine.
